Sport Wales' vision is to unite a proud sporting nation, with the purpose to increase physical activity and improve standards of performance. Uniting is a powerful word that helps articulate Sport Wales' role in bringing partners and people together: local authorities, governing bodies of sport, communities, coaches, adults, young people, children and the
entire nation to support, participate and excel in sport.
The Sport Wales Institute is the Elite Performance function of Sport Wales. The Sport Wales Institute comprises a network of facilities and practitioner's that work with partners to help deliver success for Welsh sport at the highest level.
Sport Science and Sport Medicine practitioners deliver a World class service to a range of sports and athletes as prioritised in the Sport Wales Elite sport strategy or in partnership with UK Sport
