What is milk thistle?
Milk Thistle is a natural herb member of the sunflower family. The seeds of its purple flowers have been used as a food supplement for centuries and as a herbal remedy for a variety of ailments for 2,000 years. The Saxons even believed the plant warded off snakes when worn around the neck!
