What is Veg−Omega® 3?
The benefits of omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA’) are well understood, providing support for brain, eye and heart health. Whilst research is still emerging, there is also evidence to suggest that they can provide benefits to athletes who follow intensive training regimes. Omega 3 fatty acids are most commonly consumed through oily fish or by taking a daily fish oil supplement. However, fish actually obtain their DHA and EPA by consuming microalgae. This advanced formulation is derived from a natural algal source which is rich in the omega 3 fatty acids, DHA and EPA. Veg−Omega 3 provides those who follow plant−based diets with a convenient and effective way of obtaining omega 3.
