Ingredients
- 50g rolled oats
- Milk, enough to just cover (dairy or plant-based)
- Apple juice, a splash to taste
- 1 small apple, grated
- Small handful mixed nuts, chopped
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Method
- In a jar or bowl, combine the oats with enough milk to just cover. Add a splash of apple juice and stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 2–3 hours).
- In the morning, loosen with a little extra milk if needed. Stir through a pinch of cinnamon (optional).
- Top with the grated apple, chopped nuts and chia seeds. Serve immediately.
Serving & storage
Tip: Make up to 3 portions ahead in sealed jars; keep chilled for up to 3 days. Add toppings just before eating to keep them crunchy.
