Ingredients

  • 50g rolled oats
  • Milk, enough to just cover (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1 small apple, grated
  • Small handful mixed nuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Method

  1. In a jar or bowl, combine the oats with enough milk to just cover. Add a splash of apple juice and stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 2–3 hours).
  2. In the morning, loosen with a little extra milk if needed. Stir through a pinch of cinnamon (optional).
  3. Top with the grated apple, chopped nuts and chia seeds. Serve immediately.

Tip: Make up to 3 portions ahead in sealed jars; keep chilled for up to 3 days. Add toppings just before eating to keep them crunchy.
