Serves 1 5 mins Vegetarian 270kcal 5.5g fibre

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 Medjool dates
  • Walnut halves, enough to fill each date

Method

  1. Slice each Medjool date open lengthways and remove the stone.
  2. Stuff the cavity with walnut halves.
  3. Serve immediately as a sweet and nutty snack.

Serving and storage

Tip: Best eaten fresh. Store prepared dates in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
