Ingredients

  • 80g hummus
  • 1 red pepper, sliced into batons
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced into batons

Method

  1. Prepare the red pepper and carrots by cutting them into batons.
  2. Place the hummus in a small bowl.

Serving & storage

Tip: Best enjoyed immediately. Store any leftover hummus in the fridge in a sealed container and consume within 2 days.

Nutrition tip: Hummus provides plant protein and heart-healthy fats from chickpeas and tahini. For extra cholesterol support, consider adding a plant sterol supplement. Research shows 1.5–3 g of plant sterols per day can help lower LDL cholesterol by up to 12%.
