What is Ubiquinol Max?
Back in the 1950s, scientists discovered coenzyme Q10, a compound found in the mitochondria − otherwise known as the 'powerhouse' − of all our body cells. This is the part that helps convert food into energy so the body can perform its many essential tasks. There are two types of coenzyme Q10 − the oxidised version called ubiquinone and the unoxidized version called ubiquinol, which is better absorbed than ubiquinone and the most absorbable form of coenzyme Q10. Levels of coenzyme Q10 fall with age, which is why ubiquinol supplements are popular with those over the age of 50 to reduce the effects of coenzyme Q10 deficiency. Our advanced formulation contains a premium blend of tocotrienols − natural compounds belonging to the vitamin E family, which have well documented benefits.
