What is milk thistle?
Milk Thistle is a natural herb member of the sunflower family. The seeds of its purple flowers have been used as a food supplement for centuries and as a herbal remedy for a variety of ailments for 2,000 years. The Saxons even believed the plant warded off snakes when worn around the neck!
Why choose Healthspan's Milk Thistle Complete tablets?
The liver works very hard to clear the blood of toxins that would otherwise accumulate in the bloodstream, so we've created a comprehensive supplement that combines milk thistle seed extract with calcium and choline to support your digestive system and particularly your liver function*. Not all choline is of equal standard, so we've used high quality VitaCholine, made with natural, non-synthetic tartaric acid. Even better, we've also added B vitamins to help you maintain good energy levels.
Made in the UK.
*Calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes. Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function; the beneficial effect is obtained with at least 82.5mg of Choline per day.
