What is acai berry?
Often referred to as the 'Super Berry', the acai berry has one of the highest nutritional values in the world. It is packed with iron and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and C, as well as amino acids and fibre. In South America, the fresh berries are very popular in smoothies - if you can get hold of fresh or frozen acai berries, which look like dark-purple grapes but smaller with less pulp, try a recipe smoothie for a healthy boost. These days acai berries are consumed all over the world.
Why choose Healthspan's Acai Berry tablets?
We freeze-dry the fresh, highly nutritional acai berries as soon as they're harvested, so most of the nutritional qualities are retained and then added into our tablets. In fact, ours is one of the highest strength supplements available in the UK with each tablet providing 500mg of highly concentrated acai berry powder, equivalent to 4,000mg of whole fresh acai berries. Even better, we also add vitamin C to further support your immune system, skin health, protect your cells from oxidative stress and even support your energy levels.
